Therapy for Trauma & Stressors

Examples of Traumatic Stress include:

  • Abuse and Neglect

  • Domestic Violence

  • Community Violence

  • Natural Disaster

  • Death of Loved One

  • Divorce/Separation

  • Vehicle Accident

  • Cultural/Racial Violence

Feeling numb, confused, overwhelmed, stuck, emotional? Sometimes we can't take any more stress. When there is high stress and low support (or the ability to accept help from others), we can feel stuck. Therapy for trauma and stressors starts with identifying triggers, figuring out ways for you to cope with the stress, and finding ways to change the stressors or how much they impact you.
